When it comes to picking out the next travel destination Orlando Florida has always been a place we go back to again and again and again! This time, we're visiting Universal Loews Royal Pacific Resort, one of Universal Studios six on-site hotel and resorts. The Royal Pacific Resort is one of the gorgeous resorts in all of Orlando! With their Polynesian theme, it made us feel as if we were on an island oasis with the lush mix of plants and palm trees and all the colorful orchids decorated throughout. Furthermore, the RPR (Royal Pacific Resort) has a waterfall in front of one of their restaurants. And, it gets better, they even have their own private Little Beach area with white sand! 🏨🏖

LOBBY

As soon as we checked in, we were greeted with "Aloha's" and smiling staff and leis, which makes it feel like we’re visiting Hawaii! 🌺

Their outdoor Courtyard is so tranquil and peaceful!

Also in the lobby, next to the check-in desk, there is an area for us to purchase tickets to the Universal Studios theme parks. 🎫

TIP: Another perk of staying at The Royal Pacific Resort is that they offer Express passes For the rides at Universal Studios. The passes are connected to the room keys, which is saving about $79 per person! What a great way to get through all the rides without having to wait!

RESTAURANTS

There are a few restaurants located throughout the resorts.

One is located at the pool, which was our first stop as we were waiting for our room because we arrived earlier than expected. (Check-in is at 3 pm)

Another restaurant called 'Island' is located on the same level as the pool area and they offer a buffet-style breakfast in the morning (ask the hostess on what days and times they do character meetings if you want to meet some Minions!) and during the evening for dinner, they serve Asian inspired dishes. 🍜

If you're not in the mood for Asian food then conveniently, Jake's American Bar is the best spot to grab a cold beer and a burger and fries and is located next door! 🍔

For something quick in the morning, on the main level in the lobby, you'll find the Orchid Court, which is a fast way to get coffee and some fruit or bagels and at dinner time in the Orchid Court, they serve sushi and an open bar. 🍣

They did have another restaurant that called Emeril’s Tchoup Chop, but it closed down on New Year's, which is sad because we always wanted to try it! It'll be interesting to see if they use that space for another restaurant in the future!

THE ROOM

One thing that we have to mention is that Loew’'s Royal Pacific Resort is pet-friendly! They offer rooms, so you don't have to leave any family members at home! There is a pet fee, that is about $100 or so. These rooms are usually on the lower level, so if you're not interested in staying in a hallway that you'll hear barking, we recommend letting your check-in agent know so you'll have something a bit quieter ;) 🛌

The first thing we noticed was the enormous floral decal on the walls; it brightens up the room! During our stay, our room had two queen-size beds and a light comforter. And in the middle are round lanterns as the main source of lighting in the room. Also, we had a large window to bring in natural light, and we got a beautiful view of the Croquet area.

Each room has Loew's robes and extra blankets in the closet.

And under the TV in the media stand, is where you're going to find your fridge and coffee maker!

We were in room 2119, and we found it to be very spacious and perfect for us. 💤

PERKS

The one thing that makes this Resort super unique is that they offer a Luau party on Saturdays. And make sure to get a reservation! We didn't go because we decided to spend our Saturday at the parks. But next time, we would love to plan a visit because we never been to a Luau before and think it would be a fun experience!🌺

And as we mentioned, they offer Express passes for the entire family so don't forget to use them while you are at the parks! 🎟

Lastly, they offer a water taxi to Universal's City walk and theme parks. Which is a convenient way to get back and forth. And the last shuttle is at 2 am! 🛶

If you are looking to get away and want an Island Paradise vibe, we would definitely recommend staying at Universal Loews Royal Pacific hotel! 🌸
