HOTEL:

The Shore Club

Address: 1901 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Of all the amazing hotels & resorts located right on the beach, we stayed at the Shore Club in South Beach. The shore club has a contemporary beach vibe that’s almost spa like that stepping in to the lobby instantly gives a sense of relaxation after coming back from a jam-packed day. The stay here was so good that we decided to extend our trip for an additional night! You definitely can't beat the location, it's right on Collins Ave with access right to beach and is a few blocks away from shopping at Lincoln Road. We are so thankful to the staff for accommodating us during our stay. They surprised us with a bottle of champagne and gave us an amazing room with an ocean front view. The best part of the stay had to be lounging by the pool, which offers poolside service, for whenever we were in the mood for a delicious Cocktails! Did we even mention that they serve raw coconuts with a straw!?

We are really happy to have stayed here and we will consider it again when we come back to South Beach!

RESTAURANTS:

Barton G.

Address: 1427 West Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139

During our first night in Miami, we had to go ALL out so if you're looking for extraordinary place to dine, there's no other place like Barton G. From their over the top food presentation to their delicious liquid nitrogen infused cocktails, we want everyone to experience this! Keep in mind that the prices are unhealthy for the wallet as they did some “DAMAGE.” But we couldn't resist doing a girl's night without doing the MOST. This is a place where you can dress to the nines but either way, the food will steal the show!

For starters, we got a couple of appetizers; we had the popcorn shrimp that arrived in a vintage style popcorn machine, and we also got the lobster pop tarts, and yes they were of course in a toaster! For drinks, we both decided to get the most fabulous one on the menu called "Diamonds Are Forever" martini that are served on a glowing diamond platter.

For an entree, Nicholle got a steak that came with the biggest fork and knife display we’ve ever seen! And Kristina decided to get the tilapia that came with a flower pot and gardening tools, so cute!

And we couldn't end the night without dessert! We decided to do a couple of different desserts because when you're a girl, you have to have options, right?! One of the biggest ones we got was the Marie Antoinette that was a mannequin head with cotton candy that was basically going up to the sky with a Banana Foster Shake on the side. The other desert that we decided to get was the 'Lucky Ducky', which is an interactive carnival style shooter game and funnel cakes with your choice of strawberry and chocolate dipping sauces.

If you're looking for upscale whimsical, this is the place to go to!

Matador Room (At The Miami Beach EDITION)

Address: 2901 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140

During our second night in Miami, we decided to go to the EDITION hotel where they have the Matador room. The Matador room is a restaurant that has a Spanish Caribbean inspired menu. Besides the menu we were blown away by the interior decor. It had a upscale beach vibe with light natural wood and white walls but we were definitely vibing with the lush plants that are hanging inch by inch on the ceiling over the dining tables. During our night at the Matador room, we shared the 'Sweet Pea guacamole' as an appetizer and the spicy tuna tartare. These are smaller plates that are meant to be shared, and because they're so small, we also ordered the avocado pizza. It seems like whatever choices we made, they couldn't be wrong because everything was so fresh and delicious. Since we were in the sharing mood, we decided to split a bottle of blended wine and the roasted red snapper for our entree. Although we had our dinner out on the patio nearby the pool area, indoors they have a quieter dining room attached to a bar with a DJ spinning beats. Although we wish we could've stayed at the Matador room bar and lounge longer, we decided to go somewhere even special. Keep reading down below. ;)

ATTRACTIONS:

The Basement (At The Miami Beach EDITION

Address: 2901 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140

Also located right inside the EDITION hotel is 'The Basement'. When the word basement comes to mind we are thinking dark and grungy, but this place is the opposite of what the name suggests. On your way down to The Basement, you're going down a long winding staircase and half way down, we could hear the bass of the music. Not only is this place a dance club, bar and lounge, they also have a bowling alley, and indoor ice skating rink with its own separate DJs all in one space! Yes, you heard right, a bowling alley and indoor ice skating rink! The bowling alley only has two lanes, but there's still plenty of space to spectate. And you know this place is cool when Demi Lovato took an Instagram pic there, and Drake has rented out the entire Basement for him and his friends. There's no spot like the basement! We weren't dressed for the occasion, but that didn't matter to us because we decided to dance the night away in their nightclub anyways!

Wynwood Walls

Address: 2520 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127

During the day, we took a trip to the Art District to find a neighborhood filled with graffiti from many artists from around the world on almost every building for many blocks. This is an area that is a "must-see "when visiting Miami because their unique walls change every so often so when you go back to visit Miami you're always in to see something a little different every time. Before venturing out to see all the walls, we decided to go to one of the little restaurants located right in the main wynwood walls display area. Which is convenient called the Wynwood Kitchen & Bar. Here we had spicy margaritas and Tapas to share. Our favorite thing on the menu was the shrimp tacos. We liked it so much that we had to get another round! There's a lot to say about this amazing neighborhood, but most importantly there's a lot to see so we definitely recommend that when you go to Miami to stop into this neighborhood and have plenty of battery on your phone and in your camera because you're going to be taking pictures the entire time! We could definitely spend an entire afternoon here to explore.

Miami's Magic Mountain

Address: Collins Park, on the corner of 21st Street and Collins Avenue

Speaking of art displays, another great art installment is in a single stack of highlighter colored boulders from The Seven Magic Mountain series in Las Vegas by Ugo Rondinone. Located right on Collins Ave, we had no idea that this was in Miami. Luckily for us, our Uber just happened to have passed it on our way to our hotel so it was a very pleasant surprise! Kinda like we discovered a bit of miami magic ourselves! This is a gem brought over to the East Coast and we're so happy to have to spotted it! We're not sure for how long this display will be in Miami. So if you are able to check it out, you have to see it for yourself!

South Beach

Of course when you're in South Beach the main attraction of them all is the beach! The weather was pretty much perfect during our stay so we were able to an entire afternoon to just lounge on beach chairs while listening to the waves crash. Nicholle even decided to get a boogie board so that she could play in the water because she loves being in the water. When in miami, we suggest staying at a resort that is located right on the beach. A lot of them have cabanas and offer chairs and beachside food/drink service to their guests. What a great accommodation! The beaches are something we're missing at home so we had to soak up all the sun and we even did a little roller skating on the running path along the beach!

During our short trip to Miami, we covered a lot of places. (but we obviously have so much more to see!) Miami has always had that cool, sexy fun vibe and we, of course, had to run with that. Miami is for the fabulous, so if you're looking for a location where you could just dress up with your girlfriends this is a great place to come to for amazing drinks it's awesome nightclubs and a high energy experience.

If you haven't, you should check out our time in Miami by visiting our YouTube channel! We shared part 1 and part 2 because there was just so much to see. Definitely check them out we will list the links down below!

We can't wait to visit Miami again!!
