Skincare line that is Vegan, Affordable and Convenient?! Love Beauty and Planet

After going through each and every aisle of the grocery store, mainly looking for food, we're sure most of us can't help but stop by the cosmetics section! 💄

As we all know buying drugstore brands is just way less costly and more convenient than having to go find parking at the Mall for only a few [pricey] items at Sephora.

On a recent trip, while walking through the shimmery eyeshadows and lotions, the girly floral packaging of LOVE BEAUTY and PLANET caught my eye.

I pick up one of their shampoos, and I notice that not only is this branding aesthetically pleasing but they put an emphasis on making an impact on this planet. 🌱🌺

Lately, there has been a growing interest in eco-friendly beauty products. Some of this has sparked as reactions to the extreme weather we experienced in 2017, some of it comes from being more aware about the terrible business practices of those that test on animals and some just desire positive changes to one's overall health and general wellbeing.

Not only are Love Beauty and Planet's bottles 100% recyclable (with easy to remove labels so you can recycle those too), but their roses are ethically sourced, NOT tested on animals, With NO parabens and YES vegan.

The first scent from their line that I had to try was the Murumuru Butter and Rose Body Wash.

As soon as I pumped out (yes, it comes with a pump) the product, I got an instant but strong smell of pure sweetness. Personally, the smell is a bit overpowering for my liking but not unbearable. What is the real key benefit to this body wash is how amazingly moisturizing it is! My skin felt baby soft and hydrated. This particular soap is a lotion consistency until it lathers into a light foam. Also, I noticed that the scent doesn't last very long which doesn't bother me too much because like I said, it's a bit too strong for me.

Bottom-line: The body wash is a great product especially during the drier seasons, and as I become more familiar with the brand and their mission, I can't wait to try out more of their products! Their collection include body washes, shampoos, conditioners, scrubs and more with over six scents. The next scent I'm most excited to try next is their Argan Oil & Lavender! I'll be honest; I am a bit hesitant to try the shampoo and conditioners because my relationship with my hair is a bit more high maintenance. But I have to admit the fast-rinse technology of their conditioners, would be something cool to test out as it claims to shorten shower time by 20% which equals less water waste! 💦

As we become more educated about the current state of our planet and as the world ages and goes through its changes, we've looking into living a more sustainable lifestyle and taking care of our planet and life on it!
